It's tough to pull off the layered look when u r Busty. Gugu nailed it! Notice she did a skinny belt, in a previous blog "get waisted"  we talked about the thin belt versus thick. All the layers are thin and light in weight even the sequence jacket. OK so, I'm a Libra and if u know anything about us we highly observant even if we play like we didn't see it .....we did! We make the best people watchers. I said all that to say...I didn't like her purse because I think its too small in scale compared to her body. Some women can be plus size but still have small wrist and ankles. Gugu does not, so the bright colored small clutch makes me notice her wrists. Lol don't mind me...I can be over the top, this could be one of those moments. -Busty

Jeans, check! Pumps, check! Cute top, NO...argh!!!

So my first blog question was...Where can you find cute tops if ya have the busty girl problem! My answer, Hell if I know! Lol lol. No seriously finding the perfect top will always be a challenge not just for us but, for our sisters on the little committee. My advise is never, ever stop looking. You must be diligent keep a "perfect top emergency fund",  because you will most likely never find the perfect blouse when u need it. Browse the racks on a regular. And don't buy anything else! Keep at least one banging blouse on stand by for that last minute event. If ur a "D" cup or more, go with wrap shirts, deep V, 3/4 sleeves, diagonal stripes and peplum tops. Live on the edge with size. Do not be afraid of a medium. Mediums fit the stomach and back better than larges...try on the M, L and XL. Trust me. Oh also, tops that zip on the side fit Busty women well, instant tailored look (don't forget the rules tho) I win in stores like H&M, forever 21(yes), Zara and Akira. I lose in department stores. Be a winner, and if ur down to the wire....buy a crispy white tank with cute Jean jacket u already got, cute neck piece, gloss, mascara...red lips and kill em.

Pancake anyone? Lol

There are 2 parts to the Busty Boxy Woman...the Bust and the Box! The Box is a bit trickier so i tend to refer to my expert friends for help. I don't think my butt is totally flat compared to the general population of women...butt compared to my friends....im a pancake! Lol I still have fans though please believe! I like to cover the small of my back with a medium length shirt bcuz it helps add faux shape to the hip and butt even if only drastically subtle . I have gone with out...it depends...so today's pic got mostly yellow grade bcuz it depends on the pants and ur attitude . Happy Saturday!</p>

Let's get WAISTED!!!

Not waisted, waisted but, waisted! Ok Busty Boxy's somewhere alone the way we were told to.... "put a belt around ur waist and Voila...u'll have a shape.....NOT! Be careful...use belts around the waist sparingly! The thinner the better. I was once told I was the "CHAMP"...bcuz my belt looked like a boxing heavy weight title belt...lol it was funny bcuz it was nothing but the truth! So now, I would rather wear shirts that are pinched at the back. Any who...take a look at the pics below....see how a small belt looks better. Now granted I labeled one pic with a yellow x bcuz u can make it work, in fact I've seen it work. I choose not to take the chance. I am a 36 DDD and big belts unless over a coat just don't work for me. So get Waisted my Boxy Diva sisters! Oh and never ever ever pay full price for a belt unless Idris Elba is wearing it after a sweaty work out...lol

Oh almost forgot...that skinner belt better not be so small it gets lost under a back roll! BUOL!

Scarves are not so easy when ur Busty!

I luv scarves! However the feeling is not always mutual! So with us being Bustys our golden rule is not to look stuffed and to keep a neck!! Here are a few examples...so what I found is...chunky scarves should be for warmth with a coat or jacket because the jacket conceals the bust so its only about the scarf!...if wearing for style or as a part of ur fit...scarves with light weight fabric and darker colors worked best for me. Light colored scarves drew attention to the bust rather than the scarf.

Buttoning is so over rated! Say no to buttons!!

Hey Busty Boxy! Yes it's time...time to face the ugly Button Beast! We understand what it's like to buy a shirt that fits but that 1 button won't close...damnit! Announcement!!!!! do not buy a larger size you will look pregnant! Instead... buy a tank top that matches... in fact about 10 of them. And then say NO to buttoning!!! Lol! Take a look ...no tank equals peekaboo bra and u will lose points 4 that ( although sometimes I fall victim) too much tank looks like ur shirt is confused..." should I be open or not".  Just leave 1 or 2 buttons open to relieve the pressure. Its a fine line between too small  and button overrated!! have a good day! Khem :0)

Share and Share alike...

Some looks can be shared with all body types, I think this is one! This look can actually work for BB's!!! Pants are flowy and loose button down blouses work if they r belted or pinched in the back...(im not a fan of beltin evrythng..calm down with that)...also the darker color is on top.  So recreate this one girls!

Ok BustyBoxes repeat after me...we must keep our weight under control....why! Bcuz we carry the weight in our bust! Which makes us look larger than what we really are. I know we have much self esteem but...keep the weight down so that ur neck shows!! Lol  example jill with more/less weight!

Khem's tip to creating a waste line.....never show it...lol

Because I have a goblet shape, most times I wear tank tops that slightly cover my waste line. It breaks up my box. I'm always looking for tips, got some really cool tips from T.Marie & and Co, NikkiKnows and ByDasiyn that I will share this week. One thing... we must do is listen to feedback about our look then accept, choose and refuse that feedback based on our personality!

I really liked how this outfit turned out.Tulip strapless dress. with jean vest...now i did the vest becuase if u dont have enough butt the side profile is off. the vest toned down the boobs. Which is a challenge... u dont want the boobs to take over the look! I greased my legs with vaseline!!! the beer looks cute too..lol

1st post for BustyBoxy!

Hello to my first visitors....I've been doing a ton of research on what makes a Blog successful!  And it is all relative to the audience.  So this goes back to what I learned a long time ago...Write for the reader, not yourself!!!!!

With that said...this is not a readers digest... rather I'd like for it to be full of tips and pictures, references and links to a being a better dressed Woman with boobs and no curves...  Hope you enjoy it.  and If you don't...tell me.  I'll adjust!
